Pigs, Foam

 

SPECIFICATIONS

PolyEurope poly foam pigs are industrial pipeline and municipal water main cleaners and product recovery devices. The basic design consists of a flexible, bullet shaped polyurethane foam cylinder. The rear end of the PolyEurope poly foam pig is concave in order to allow more pressure to be exerted and create a tighter seal against the pipe wall. This helps to prevent "by-pass" of the propelling agent (water, air or product) and virtually eliminates product contamination.

Overall length of PolyEurope poly foam pigs (Medium and High densities) are approx. 2 times the diameter of the pipeline and oversize of the bare pigs varies between 0.25"and 0.75" depending on size of pig and pipe grade.

SB2CC Pigs size 4"-14" are designed for product separation, batching and displacement operations.

SB2CC Pigs are manufactured with a steel welded body single bolt design or a flexible body design, polyurethane protector nose and a hoisting facility in front.

SB2CC Pigs are fitted with 2 conical heavy duty polyurethane long distance driving cups which are easily replaceable, and create a perfect seal.

General function and application

Removal of debris, liquid evacuation, product separation, batching and displacement.

SB2CC Pigs are designed for passing 3D radius bends and will traverse full-size branch openings.

Group       Separation, batching, displacement and hydrostatic testing

SB0-4 Pigs size 4"-14" are designed for product separation, batching, displacement and hydrostatic testing operations. SB0-4 Pigs are manufactured with a steel welded body single bolt design, polyurethane spacers, protector nose and a hoisting facility in front.

SB0-4 Pigs are fitted with 4 polyurethane sealing discs which are easily replaceable, and create a superior seal.

General function and application

Removal of debris, liquid evacuation, product separation, batching, displacement and hydrostatic testing.

SB0-4 Pigs are designed for passing 1.5D radius bends and will traverse full-size branch openings.

SB2C-GP Pigs size 4"-8" are designed to indicate obstructions, proving the roundness of pipelines.

SB2C-GP Pigs are manufactured with a steel welded body single bolt design, polyurethane spacers, protector nose and a hoisting facility in front.

SB2C-GP Pigs are fitted with 2 standard polyurethane scraper cups which are easily replaceable, and create a perfect seal. SB2C-GP Pigs are equipped at the front with an aluminium gauging plate (conventional or slotted) which is as the cups, easily replaceable.

General function and application

Indicate obstructions, proving the roundness of pipelines and/or removal of construction debris.

SB2C-GP Pigs are designed for passing 1.5D radius bends and will traverse full-size branch openings.
